“The sea was calm and the weather was clear last November when Fort Lauderdale boat captain Mike Muldoon spotted something unique: an abandoned raft painted to look like a shark opening its jaws.” Says Johnny Diaz

I was shocked that art was drawn on the actual raft, “recalled Muldoon of Good Hit Sportfishing charters. “Usually they are rusted. This one was beautiful.Muldoon, like many South Florida boaters, is used to encountering empty vessels, the common mode of escape for Cubans fleeing the island.”
