Catching, Sailfish, Dolphin, Swordfish, and King Mackerel

The past couple of weeks have been pretty eventful, the Good Hit has been catching, Sailfish, Dolphin, Swordfish, and King Mackerel.

Big Dolphins On the Reefs of Fort Lauderdale

We have had big dolphin on the second and third reefs, anywhere from 50 feet -1000ft. Showering ballyhoo and blowing up mullet close to shore, and feeding around any debris offshore.

This has been the best year for Dolphin that I have seen in a long time, catching your limit of dolphin is now an actual easy task.

Consistent Sailfish in November

Sailfish have been pretty consistent from 90 feet-200 feet, using live goggle eyes and mullet on the kite. Our Best Day in November we caught 3 sailfish on the kite before 11am, all fish were caught on live mullet.

We have seen man juvenile sailfish, with the bigger breeder sailfish on the way.

Kite fishing will only get better from now until the end of March. If you happen to make it out on the Good Hit, I recommend purchasing some live goggle eyes and do some kite fishing.

Sword fishing in November is always good, night or day we have been catching swordfish ranging from 50lbs-300lbs.

We fish directly off of Fort Lauderdale in 1200-1600ft, around 16 miles off the coast of Fort Lauderdale.

On our off times we fish for swordfish commercially, so sword fishing isn’t also our specialty, it’s our passion.
